You’ve probably landed on this page because you took my Strawberry Earrings workshop or purchased my strawberry earrings kit — thank you and welcome! Below you’ll find the resources you need to use your kit, everything from making the felt strawberry to attaching your earring wires. Supplies
If you haven’t purchase my kit, no problem! Here are all of the supplies you’ll need:
Felt in three colors: one color for the strawberry, one for the chocolate, and one for the strawberry top/leaves. You can find a multi-colored pack of felt on Amazon, or purchase single sheets pretty inexpensively at Michael’s or your local craft store.
Scissors
6-strand Embroidery Floss in several colors (again, you can purchase a single color in person at Michael’s or at your local craft or needlepoint store).
Sharpie or similar marker to trace templates
Poly fill (or fabric scraps, yarn scraps, etc for stuffing)
Optional: Needle Threaders
As an Amazon Associate I may earn a commission when you use the links above.
Tip: For all of the stitching on your strawberries you’ll want to split 6-strand embroidery floss into 3 strands. This will make for thinner thread which works perfectly for a miniature felt project like this. Here’s a helpful video for how to split embroidery floss without getting it tangled.
Now, let’s make the felt strawberries.
In this video tutorial I’m using household items to create my template. You can do the same, or download my printable PDF template to make it even easier!
